[T]ÉKËL are Julien Briffaz & Loïc Le Guillou.
Julien founded BRIF records before meeting Loic Le Guillou, and deciding to give up label management to start producing music under the name [T]ÉKËL.
[T]ÉKËL develop a style that merges different influences into one : rock, hip hop, house, electro & techno... 8 Eps later, [T]ÉKËL enjoy european wide recognition and their productions have found a place in the record boxes of such djs as Michael Mayer, Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Agoria, Tiga, Ivan Smagghe...
The pair have consequently started to perform live sets, in the clubs where their energetic and powerful sound never fails to set the dancefloor on fire: Nuits Sonores (Lyon), Rex Club, Elysée Montmartre, Triptyque, Pulp, Nouveau Casino, Batofar (Paris), WMF, Watergate, Deep (Berlin), CLICK (Hamburg), Mondo (Madrid), Fabric (London)...
[T]ÉKËL have also been asked to deliver remixes for such respected labels as Crosstown Rebels (UK), Set (France) and Boxer recordings (Koeln), and more recently Sender records & Lasergun, and a forthcoming one for Fcom.
T]ÉKËL’s debut album is out now on CD, and are the cover feature of TRAX magazine, May 2006 issue.

Hailing from Manchester, a town which symbolises the blend of guitars and Machines, Siskid was given a classical musical education before making his First steps on the rock scene, then leaning towards the turntables. Known for his dark and melancholic sounds, and upbeat rythms, his influences are both rock and electronic.
His two first releases on Initial Cuts, Clean Breakfast & Hummer, are as many dancefloor pleasers which found their way into the record boxes of such djs as Michael Mayer, Agoria, The Hacker and Tiefschwarz.
Siskid is one of France’s hottest djs, and was recently offered residencies at Café d’Anvers (Belgium), Rex Club (Paris), Sala Albeniz (Gijon, Spain).
Along with Ivan Smagghe and Arnaud Rebotini, he also plays guitar, bass and keyboards during live performances of the famous band Black Strobe.
Siskid is definitely playing his role in the renewal of the French electronic scene.
His new EP, "the Architect", is out now on Initial Cuts.
Siskid is also working on an album due on Initial Cuts in 2007.
